Really is a fantastic bike, brought in '09 and used twice just to roll around on. Since then ive upgraded almost all of the stock components which have never been ridden on! Thousands spent on this bike, it is as brand new, the tyres still have the pips on!
This is a perfect UK downhill and freeride bike!
Unfortunately im forced to sell this bike due to work commitments, its a shame to see it sat here gathering dust! It needs to be ridden, itll put a smile on your face!

SOLD
Cheers
Marc

hey dude,
I think you may do better to break this.. as in sell the components separately on ebay or something
and that is only if you plan never to ride a similar sport again

It's a pretty good bike to keep hold of imo, its aged well because of the 1.5 headtube and general beefiness

the saint stuff is beautiful... and if i hadnt just bought a new fork i wouldve payed 250 for that lot
66 fork will sell well, providing they still work ok cos its still one of the beefiest single crown forks out there
then everything else will stack

i duno man, seems a real shame to get rid and i love the furious

if you do plan to stay in the sport, you could still break it and salvage all the nice components from the furious?
not sure what will benefit u more
you fully pimped that furious though! nice work

Hello mate, thanks for your comments! I really love the Furious too, its built like a tank! They overbuilt everything on it and i like the reassurance that gives you! You say its aged well and it bloody well should have as it really has been sat in my attic gathering dust! Thats criminal i know! I brought it back in '09 after selling my bmx and wanting a fun, do anything kind of bike that would last! Im a big bloke myself so i needed a trusty steed.......the Furious it was! So i brought it, rolled round my courtyard on it then decided to get stupid and throw money at it! All of the components have never been ridden on, its all brand new! The groupset alone cost me £759 as i got it when the new Saint stuff came out! And yeah the Saint stuff is a perfect match for the Furious.....built to last! The thing is though, priorities change and work has meant i literally have no time to use it so its been sat in my attic gathering dust (as can be seen in the pictures)! Ive thought about breaking it and selling stuff individually but thats long winded and id rather just get rid of it in one go! Someone needs to ride it as i should have! It deserves it! Having said that if it doesnt go for the right price i might keep it as it wont be worth selling it for the money ive spent on it i.e £3700ish! Ouch!hahahahaha!
Anyways hope your enjoying your Furiuos mate! Solid bike!

i see your point man, lovely bike but no point keeping something you;ll never use

One reason i suggested keeping it is cos its futureproof
Fork standards and stuff are changing so its one of the few 2008-2009 fr fames with the 1.5 head tube

I imagine a 1 1/8th fork with 180mm travel will be tricky to find soon (new anyway), since its going tapered or 1.5 (even for XC  Huh?

but you're furious would still run any fork! bonus

question - i thought you had to have saint hubs if you wanted to use saint brakes.. is that true?  would love saint brakes, but will never afford the wheels
good luck with it all though mate Cheesy
