hi all new here ....
new bike to me , just a quick question on the cable routing for the front mech.

is this correct ,, as the cable is rubbing on the weld and wearing a groove in the alloy?
i cant see anything missing or another way to route it .anyone else have this problem.

Yes that's right and a well documented problem on here.

Solution is to use some teflon sleeving over the cable to protect the frame, Transfil do a cable kit.

is it i had a quick look but couldent see any threads,
yeah that was my idea or make a spacer to go under the plastic guide on the bb to lift it up a bit ?

ps i think i may have ridden with you the other week at cannoc ?
