I'm off to the Forest of Dean in a few weeks, just wondered if the DH trails there were worth the hassle of taking the bike ?

I've seen a couple of vids of MoreDirt..

 Huh?

The new xc loop is meant to be good fun too, definitely worth taking the bike, I've a mate lives in Coventry and he goes quite often

My mates rate the Down hill tracks and the uplift but the cross country (Verderers) is really good if you like that kind of thing (not many rocks or roots!)

I go there quite often, lots of tracks with lots of variety. The push up is short but a steep one. I race all the 661 races there and love it. The runs are at max 1.5min long but are great fun. Do an uplift day there and you wont be dissapointed.

We much prefer riding there for DH than Cwm Carn as there is only 1 run there, and yes its fast and flat out but not overly tech. While I LOVE a bit of rooty mud action to get you slidding round Grin

Cheers..

It will be before the uplift service starts up again unfortunately.. I'll probably take the bike to have a blast one day.

Ben; If you would like to donate any leave, then I'll happily take it on mate.. Cheesy
