I was up there today and they sell Commencal again, there hire bikes are now the ramone. It was so windy must have been 40 mile an hour.good job we got there early as when we got back to the cafe they had shut all trails because of the wind, they where even turning people away at the gate, the gate mans hut got blown to bits totally wasted. It was a real hard ride due to the wind.

The wind is meant to die down from Tuesday onwards, I will keep my eye on it.

Agree with the FFS but disagree with the golf - our fashion sense is worse Wink

Well, trees were falling onto the trails as people were passing, so perhaps there was some justification behind the partial closure for a couple of hours...

It makes sense to close a forest ride if the trees are falling, what type of a nugget thinks its wrong to do just that.If somebody was seriously hurt they would have had to wait hours and hours for help as it was that bad.And with a Handle like [ovadebarz]I presume you do it a lot.

I rode marin trail instead on Sunday which was epic. Had originally planned of doing full black loop at degla on Sun morning.

Did a 50miler on Saturday evening. Was ace going down the wirral to the back of Chester. Was horrible coming back from Chester with a full headwind all the way. Going downhill pedalling hard to keep 13mph.. :/
