Hi Craig,

It's off topic a bit but I have just taken delivery of a V3 and was wondering if Commencal will be producing the rear shock/mud guard. The holes are in the frame for it and it's mentioned in literature but I can't find one on-line anywhere?

Thanks

Hi Nippy.

They have told me that they will be. They received prototypes at the beginning of Jan. In the meantime you can use a cut open innertube and ziptie through the bolt holes.

Just seen the new am at Torico. Was told it was heavier than the 55?

Possibly, The AM is 10mm more travel and the AM2 weighs 13.34kg. Not sure what the latest spec of the Meta 5.5 weighs.

All I can say is that is doesn't ride heavy!

I rode the Meta 55 AM at Coed Llandegla on Sunday.  Boy does that machine climb and feel a lot lot lighter than it is.

But I think my current Meta with it's 160mm FIT fork spoils me a bit;  I can descend quicker on mine than I could on the AM.

But, begs the question - what would it be like with a 160mm 36 fork fitted?  Fast I'd say, very.

Back end tracks the ground nicely. Easy to jump.

Good enduro bike that's for sure.  Oh - and it does look great; really cool, low slung look...

However, happy with mine for the time being.  But pointed out my rear shock needs to be serviced and tuned asap!
