just about to buy a meta 5 frame i have the option of a 2010 or a 2011 frame for some reason the 2010 frame is £50 more expensive than the 2011 frame, is there any known reason for this ? or are there any significant differences between the frames ?

any help appreciated

That from CRC? I saw those as well. Bargains. There are no differences that I am aware of however CRC don't have all sizes in the 2010.
I would get the 2011.  Just make sure you are getting a shock with it.
Have you seen the price of the Carbon frames there....

thought as much, still cheap but not such a good deal now then especially as I fancy a change from a Meta next time
This on the other hand with the extra UK10% code is still seriously tempting me - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=44701
