Picked up my new bike the other day its a non commy though, sadly it seems there is a lot of them on here at the minute. But it was an amazing deal we got through specialized. I am gonna miss riding my supreme DH as it was my first proper downhill bike and i love the way it handles and feels.

But the new bike, sitting at  a healthy 37lb 14oz with the stock wheels. I haven't weighed it since putting my crank brothers opiums on her but she has probably dropped a bit as the wheels that came on it are a bit heavier.

Looks good.. Shame about the CB wheelset though.

Cheers Ant, Im having doubts about the wheels as well.

Yes they are light, but I have several small dings in the rear rim and I dont ever remember feeling hitting anything that hard.

Also I was racing a the weekend and chatting to a couple of other opium owners and they have gone through several rear rims already and one had the hub crack right through and the freehub falling to bits as well. I seem to be lucky so far. fingers crossed.
