Currently thats the lesser kit on my bike - SRAM X9 ... perfectly adequate but - maybe it's more to do with that rear swingarm - shifting isn't great at all.

Looking up the Saint stuff now ...

I've a SRAM X0 SS rear mech on mine with old (2008) X9 shifters.  I like the mech a lot, not the shifters though. Shifts fine, just don't like them.

Whereas I prefer the 2008 x9 shifters on my meta to the Xtr on my hardtail, funny world with people's different opinions innit

Just weighed in at mates - bike is now 28.64lb... that is pretty good for a 160mm/150mm travel bike I think. Rather happy !
