I'm in the process of changing a few parts on the Meta again..

I've changed the forks for some 36 vans - the weight of the bike without wheels is now 24lbs

The wheels I have weigh in at around 5lbs for the front and 6lbs for the rear - That is built up with tyres / sealant / cassette /rotors etc..

I've been looking at changing them for something like a Pro2 hub / 819 rims and a slightly lighter tyre - but I still want good grip & decent volume (min 2.3").. But I haven't found anywhere with quoted weights for fully built up wheels..

Basically I'm trying to ascertain if new wheels are a worthwhile upgrade - (weight saving vs cost)

If you have a similar setup and know the weight of your built wheels - I'd be interested in hearing about them.

Cheers

DT Swiss spoke calculator is your friend.
Enter Hub and rim details, including their weights, and it'll tell you the total weight including spokes.

Then you just need to figure out everything else, which you can usually find via a mix of manufacturers sites, shop sites (nextdaytyres.com is good for tyre weights), and weight weenies (google it).
