As a recent convert to Seal Skinz socks, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with waterproof shorts or liners (ideally endura clikfast - if they exist)..

Got some waterproof Altura 3/4 shorts
One of best bits of bike kit I have, makes it alot more comfortable in wet or muddy weather

IMO, don't bother with waterproof shorts. Get some nice middle weight lycra bibshorts. they don't feel wet when you do get drenched, and lets your skin breathe.

i always wear lycra bib shorts when it's wet. Mates think it's gay, but i'm the one still comfy 20 miles into a wet ride whilst they're complaining of a really soggy arse.

I normally wear either my Humvee 3/4 or Royal DH pants with Endura liner.. Either way, in the wet I end up with a drenched arse.

I'll have a look at some bibs.. Any recomendations ?

Bib shorts are the way to go.

Have a 3/4 Endura pair which are great for winter riding.  Only problem with them is they have a high waist so it's difficult to exit when nature calls if you catch my drift.
Other pair and Sombrio regular length ones which are excellent.

They can be expensive but there are some good bargain available if you shop around / can wait for a good deal to come up.

I recently bought some 3/4 waterproof shorts. I've always worn lycra shorts underneath baggies, and for me the new shorts do make life that bit more comfy if it's tipping it down and/or if it's muddy and I've forgotten my rear mudguard.

Ant- I presume you're talking uncovered lycra there?! I.e. no baggies over the top. I can see the merit of that, mates piss-taking aside! Just need to keep pedalling to avoid getting chilled...
