Hi all

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a washer that goes between the pedal in the crank arm for a MRP camber crankset?

I seemed to have lost one in the chaos of a house move.

Cheers

I have already gone through all the washers In various tool box's and the vast cabinets of nuts and bolts at work and nothing comes close,

It's a large diameter with a large hole in it.

You can buy replacement truvativ or shimano washers readily online but I'm unsure if they are the same dimensions

They'll be hard to get here, due to crank threads being imperial (they're 9/16" IIRC), and I'm sure the washers are hardened to some extent compared with commonly available washers.

What is the outside diameter of the one you've got?
Old style saint washer is pretty big, but the newer SLX isn't that big (I've got both, so I'I can measure them when I get chance)

Old style saints are 14.9 x 23.8 x 2.64mm.
Without taking any pedals of my SLX, I'd say OD is about the same, but from memory they're quite a bit thinner.

You'll probably find that 14mm is marginaly small. I never measured any pedals, but 9/16" is about 14.3mm.

Since the camber cranks have inserts, why do you need the washer? they're only there for protection of the crank surface.

Since the camber cranks have inserts, why do you need the washer? they're only there for protection of the crank surface.

The insert is pressed in from the non-pedal side, and the washer combined with the pedal axle, clamp it in place.
Without the washer, then there's nothing other than the press fit to keep the insert in, which some people can get away with, but you risk the insert moving and destroying the cranks.

Spot on the money there, I have already had them replaced under warranty, as I forgot to put the washer on once and the insert worked loose, as it was just twisting in the crank arm
