Been running mostly Superstar Sintered for years now, with the other odd swap to other sintereds... However thought i'd try out the Kevlars....

Oh wow... the difference in them is bloody remarkable !!! £3-4 extra.... quite simply a bargain..

And to think i was debating getting rid of the XT M775's ...

I run them in my Elixir R's.. Massive improvement over the standard pads, loads of power with 203mm rotors !

Bargain at £25 for 4 pairs too !

I'm interested in trying these in my K18's, are they quiet? I'm sick of noisy sintered pads!
Thanks.

Yup, never have much squeal with mine unless it's really wet!

I've been running these for a year or so and they last really well and the stopping power is excellent. Thankfully they don't squeal much at all. Unlike the sintered ones.......  Roll Eyes

i changed to superstar Kevlar a few months ago and they don't seem to provide me with any big performance benefit, but being kevlar i would imagine they wont get as hot or fade like sintered/organic can when braking at 40+mph Smiley.

I bought some of these for my elixirs before i changed to saint brakes, there good but don't last as long as the ebc or nukeproof equivelant i've also used in the past! went through a set in one day doing the uplift at inners

I think it depends how they bed in.. I've heard of some people going through a set in a day, but I have done hundreds of miles on my first set of pads, which I have only just changed.. The old pads still have material on them, but I like the lever feel really sharp.
