Maxxis Cup Rnd.1: Commencal clean up!

Word is just in that Commencal riders have cleaned up at the first round of the Maxxis cup held in Portugal. In mens Elite Gee Atherton took first, Dan Atherton took 2nd and Cedric Gracia took third.
In the woman elite Rachel Atherton took first.
On the gossip front all the Commie riders felt the new design Supreme DH (due for official consumption with the 09 range) is fast, very fast. They reckon it will give them about an extra ten seconds on fast technical courses. To quote....
"It ploughed thru stuff like it wasn't there!"
More words and pics as we get them.
