AM or SX Ben?
When they come out later this year they'll be at their most expensive of course.
I'd like to know what the frame only cost will be.  And the frame weight.
I'm considering a change as well and there are many excellent alternatives out there at the moment that are lighter & cheaper (I suspect).

I am not worried about the weight or price (cheaper wold be good though)

I want it to be an all mountain bike, i expect it to weigh in at 32lbs at least. I dont want something super light thats going to fall to bits or flex loads. That was always my complaint of the 09 frames, the flex was so noticeable. My 06 Meta was loads stiffer and tracked much better through the rough stuff.

I am quite happy to pedal the heavier weight up the hills if i can have the fun coming down.

I have looked at the Lapierre Spicy which is very nice and would have to spend 3K on the one i want so i am sure the meta will come in at around the same price region.

I am not sure if i would get the AM or SX as with so little difference in travel. I would like and SX with coil shock and 180mm Fox's on!!

Just come back from the Alps, Meta AM is in all the mags. They start at €2900 for the basic model up to €3600. Deep pockets required but they do look ace.

Wow that’s a beautifully lined bike.
I hate cables, they are so messy.
Looks like it’s been well studied. All the next gen standards, perfect seat and head angles, low crank height.
It just can’t be bad. Very well done Commencal!
The day that Mavic makes a 142 conversion it will be finished.

It looks like Remy was riding the Meta AM with a Fox 36 on the front... Looks the mutts nuts.

Ticket2ridebc.com have had an AM and SX during Crankworx and all reports are that they are both 'awesome'!
