man, that was unusually quick for coc. again, thanks for you input. these bikes are coming fairly early next year right, or do we have to wait longer next year? (sorry for the somewhat redundant question)

Nobody knows the answer to that question yet i'm afraid!! The bike is still in prototype/testing stages so i'm afraid it's just a case of sitting tight... Good things come to those who wait!

Firstly, what a find - great site 

Well, I was all set to become the proud owner of an 08 MiniDH and then I find this! The extra seat tube length answers my one small niggle about an otherwise dream frame for here in NZ.

One question to anyone who might know though - looks like it might be a no go for a front derailer with the new linkage down so low? Or will they come up with a clever adaptor on the Chain guide mount....

Would be nice if the frame was a bit lighter but with the 666 in the line up and the prospect of the 09 having a bit more travel means I suspect it'll stay about the same.

If I can't set it up with 2 rings up front then i'll stick to the plan and get myself an 08 frame, if not I may have to be patient and wait for the 09 to show up!!

i'll bump it back up to the top. does anybody know more about the new frames? especially considering the mini.

also, i found a great picture showing off the new linkage (for those of us who haven't seen em live ).





when one looks at in in addition to the already posted image below, it all makes sense meta style, just vertical and with a much more solid rocker triangle.
