I couldn't either Steve.. The only difference is the wheel from the cube has a 10sp cassette and I left the skewer in.. I thought it would be loads lighter than the one from the meta!

..something's bloody heavy ! 

Having said that the hardtail climbs really well, so I'm not in any great rush to lose weight from that.. I'm just looking at some new tyres now.

Where do you live jimbo,  perhaps there are gravitational field distortions.
Mind you, that porker of a Meta probably creates it's own gravity.

Dunno what he's flapping about personally where he rides its not like there is any hills or need for suspension or gears even come to think of it
Your looking a kilo or more difference in tyre weight by time you factor in sealant, rim strips etc, the cube tyres will be around 500g each

I've got some tubeless Conti rubber Queens like almost new if your interested? No idea on weight but must be lighter than that
Great tyres but I just went back to high rollers or nobby nics wiith tubes on both bikes
