Anyone using 5.10 shoes?
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=18195
Just wondering what the fits like.

Im about to order some from CRC which is a bit risky as I wont be able to try the fit.
No local stockist's either.
I was just wondering if the size 10uk - 44.5euro - actually comes out that size.

Weird sizing as well, as the shoes Im wearing are size 10uk and 45euro.
CRC sizing chart has them as 10uk and 44.5euro.

So basically - anyone out there got a size 10uk foot and wearing a size 10uk 5.10 shoe - hows the fit?

Ta, Matt

I'm an 8.5/9 normally. I went for the 9's and they are a perfect fit.

I use them too! (Tioga MX pedals)

The grip is just awesome! can't really compare it to anything!

I went for 41 (I have no idea what the uk size is  Embarrassed)
They were like a bit tight first but do strech a bit.
For me they were like a bit narrow up front. That sorted after a few minutes of riding.
And after a few rides (10 or semething) they fit PERFECTLY  Grin

cheers

I use these for DH,they are excellent!.They are very comfortable and very grippy as well.
You have to make sure your feet are set in the corrected postion before leaving the start of the track because you can't slide your feet about, you have to lift them of the pedals to allow you to move your feet postion.

hehe
As I was on SPD's I had this issue for a couple of rides  Smiley
But hey, my style and technique have improved sensationally since changing to flats!

But I still have to laugh as my friend just went from SPD's to flats and 5.10's.
On the first ride he complained the whole uphill that he can't move his feet  Grin Grin Grin

Sizing seems spot on...just go with what you'd usually buy. I've had the Sam Hill Five Ten shoes for about a year and they are clearly more grippy than the Shimano DX ones I also own. They work basically. No brainer.
