Does anyone use these on the rear of their Meta ??

I'm sure the front will work quite well, but I'm tempted to order a couple and fit one to the frame to protect the shock from getting covered in shit and grit..

Fly,

They arrived today and they are great.. I've taken a couple of pics that I can upload if you want a look ??

The shock stayed clean and I didn't get any mud in my eyes.. Bargain for 12 quid..!

I've used them on the front, but I've never really felt the need to fit a rear mudguard to protect the shock. I just clean my bike every now and again.....  Wink

Poor quality pics from my phone, but you get the idea..

The rear one is fitted to protect the shock from getting grit forced by the seals on muddy rides..

They look like they would do a decent job of stopping the dirt from getting to the seals. Probably better than the RRP guard.

the mud I was riding in today I think one of them would just have given up, crumpled and died (bit like I nearly did when I could hardly extract the bike from a 2' deep puddle of clay!)
Cheap enough though so thinking of giving on a go on the rear combined with my neoguard on the front.
Was it easy enough to fit Jimbo, no mode needed just longer zipties?

Very easy. Just bought the plain guard and attached it to the frame with zip ties. Can't go wrong for £6.
