just used windows live movie maker to edit them,  not sure what u mean bout the drops davy?? in which vid are u talking about??
Im gonna get more footage next ime im out, do better takes etc, they were all just rushed hits so not the best lines etc, but it willl do for my 1st edit. I need to get someone to follow me with the cam next time too  Tongue

here is one of them on vimeo, see if any of u think its better quality? http://vimeo.com/15133415
and this one will be ready to view in an hour http://vimeo.com/15139569  (its annoying that u have to wait for vimeo to convert them and yet youtube has them up immediately  Undecided  )

I believe I can explain it, though perhaps I shouldn't as I can't actually do it very well....
Don't lift, push down & out.
Rebound on the fork sufficient to stop the nose from dropping.
Amount of push proportional to speed (not height of drop).

If davy was asking for tips for going offf drops,i tend to just ride off them keeping my weight central and adjusting it in the air accordingly to what the angle of the landing is like, but if i want to go far or add a bit style then yeah i pop off the take off .

sorry guys.. I didn't explain my self very well... in the spooky wood vid it looked as though your mate was actually pulling up (or popping off as you called it...LOL) just before the lip of the rocky step downs, or am i just imagining it?Huh?  Cool Cool

Bong am away again so not watched yet but ditch windows live movie maker and download version 6 that came with Windows Vista. It has much more features and editing possibilities, the Windows Live one from Windows 7 is complete pants
I'll send you a link when Im back

There's essentially 3 different ways to tackle drops, depending on how fast you're going, and what you want to achieve.
