I need some new flat pedals to put on my new Met55. The ones on now (V8's) let the look of the bike down. theyre great pedals apart from being ugly cos i had to strip the paint off.
A lot of the painted finish came off on  their 1st ride so i want something as good riding wise but a lot more durable finish.

If you like v8's then try getting some of the chrome v12's. I've had them for about 2 years now and they still look like new, apart from the end caps which are replaceable anyway.

Superstar. I had the mag ones for £50. Very light and tough as old boots. Clipped in now.

wellgo mg1 Can be found easily on ebay for reasonably cheap, and are nice and light.  I've got a set on my supreme and haven't had any problems with them at all.

In my opinon you really cnt do better for the money (or even close to it) than the superstar ones, they hve a nice large platform and are pretty light really, there is only a slight noticable diff in weight between my old v12 mags compared to the nano tech flats i now run, thy are the same as much more expensive ones such as burgtech and deity, they are made in the same factory!! http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=42&products_id=127

Point One Racing Podiums, great size of platform, thin design, light and grip like buggery.

those point ones are sweet, but the price tag is out of control. everyone seems to like MG1s. i bought a set of those HT pedals from hong kong on ebay. they are the same as the diety/kona/burgtec. they all come from the same place but the HT brand name seems to be factory direct so it saves some money.

any of you guys know of a superstar distributor that ships to the U.S.? they say they ship everywhere but here Sad

Like Bong I bought the superstar pedals, but the CNC Nano Thru Pin Pedals... they are the exact same as the Kona Wah Wah's that I bought for my Meta 55, only difference is that the Kona's cost me £64 and the CNC Nano Thru Pin Pedals cost £42.99, and I have them fitted to my Giant Reign X0 Wink

I run the Straitlines, they are amazing pedals but not cheap, before them I used azonic a frames, used them for 5 years and only had to service them a couple of times, they are still fine but the missus got me the Straitlines for christmas so the azonics are my spares now. I've tried the dmr v8/12's but they are too small for my feet, I was always slipping off them.

Easy Peasy - Superstars. I've got the mag lite and the Ultra mag lites. Superb value for money. Go for the ultra mag lites if you can stretch, they only come in at the 300gms mark. Oh, and pimp them up man!
