Is it just me or is the rear brake adapter HUGE?

I have to admit, its no longer "sexy" as the 05 supreme. But if this bike gives so much advantage i would give it a try. But there is one problem....don't know when it will hit the shops ( in my case Malaysia ) Maybe opted to go for the FR version or MiniDH. The old one is superb. I really like the bike and the bike blew me away.

It is big, but then some riders are using a 160mm rear disc, so it will give more options I guess.

Nice, but braking balance? I thought you adjusted it by pulling harder on one lever compared to the other?

I just got an answer to this question from the Norwegian importer.
He said that the adjustable brake balance is not an arm (like Kona's), but the (someone said) long brake adapter. This can be positioned to change the effect on the rear suspension to either stiffen the rear spring under braking (like the two positions on the Kona)- enhance brake jack, or not.
Apparently some top riders wanted to stiffen up the rear under braking.
I'm thinking this might aid drifting.

Sorry but I think it looks fugly!
As other people have said, it has a "normal" looking frame. Yes I know they`ve given reason`s for altering positions of this and that but hey, it should still  LOOK right!

Feel free to correct me anybody, but as I remember it Commencals explanation was that changing the position of the brake caliper would change the way that the forces from braking were fed into the suspension. Nobody claimed it changed the way the suspension worked. This is hoe I remember it and I'm getting old so..
