Hello

Have just come back from the alps via plane and ambulance after screwing my knee, MRI next wednesday.

However, now I have some spare time going to strip down bike, grease bearings etc

Was just wandering what differences the different headtube sleeves do, and can they twist?

I currently have the gold one in, and also have a silver one, which is slacker/steeper.

Cheers

Not sure about the Gold one, but with my 08 and 09 supremes i got a Silver sleeve and a black one, the silver one is a 0 degree sleeve so its the same angle no matter which way its fitted, the Black one is +1/-1 deg so depends which way u face it then you can steepen/slacken the angles, if the large notch is facing forwards then that is it in the -1 setting so the head angle will be slacker, which is the way it seems pretty much everyone rides it (this is the way mine came set up as stock) , so as i said im not sure on the gold one, but im pretty sure the silver ones would all have stayed the same as not to cause any confusion along the way, but the gold one? im guessing in your case this may be the +1/-1 sleeve, i know you can also get a gunmetal grey one (provided with some meta 6's i believe) which alllows the angles to be changed by +0.5/-0.5 deg .
