I have heard people mention that some of the sram Cassettes are not good to use with a pro2 hub cos they destroy the cassette body on the hub cos it aluminum, so what ones are good to use with them? and which are the ones to avoid?

yeah mate be fine, issue is the cheaper cassettes with steel carriers can gouge the soft alloy of the Hope freehub (or something like that)

The more expensive ones on the alloy spider are fine, if they do get stuck it's the smaller loose cogs, you just tweak them with 2 chain whips and they come off fine.

You can get a steel freehub body if it is a problem.

Any cassette with a carrier that has the larger sprockets mounted on them is recommended as it spreads the higher torque that the lager sprockets generate and prevents them from digging in like the bolted together lower end cassettes can.  You won't notice any downside when riding but it can make getting the cassette off a bit more difficult and may as tintole said require two chainwhips to get it off.  I used to have this problem when running a single speed on my trials bike even though I had a steel freehub body but that was with extreme loads that riding trials generates.

If you're not interested in saving weight put cheap cassettes on until the freehub is eaten or bearings need to be replaced, then buy a stainless steel replacement freehub and carry on with the cheap cassettes.  If you can find a cheap cassette with at least the top 3 cogs on a spider you'll prolong the life of the freehub a little longer, but either way the economics are in favour of the steel freehub.

Brett i see your logic there and thanks for the tip, but that seems like a lot of fashing around, im more of a fit and forget it kinda guy so...
Or just fit a cassette with an alloy spider to the alloy freehub and never have to worry bout it  Grin  thats what i have done and it seems fine.
