hi there,

I've just got a new Super 4 frame (white & green) ... it looks like this 2010 one :

....except that IT HAS A SIMETRICAL FRAME. I mean, left rear side (rear brake side) and right rear (rear gear side) are simetrical !!... both sides are like the right side.

If you look at the Super 4 photo or at the specs here, they are not simetrical :

... it might be a old proto or maybe a new 2011 super 4 frame

any help ??

It may well be a 2011 one then, cause commencal have not changed the graphics/colours of many of their bikes for 2011, so the frames may look the same as the 2010 colour/graphic wise, but it appears that the swingarm is "symmetrical" for 2011:

You are right domino0 .... The new frame I've received from Commencal has the 2010 front triangle + the new 2011 rear triangle, all painted as the white 2010 Super 4 frame.

I've just arrived after a short session of one hour to test the bike...I'm very happy .

The new 2011 Super 4 frame is better than the old one, as it is more rigid because the angle between chain-stay tube and seat-stay tubes is wider, so there is less room for lateral flex.

...and also overall it simplifies the frame, probably it reduces production cost. A good improvement

mine has symetrical rear trinagle too mate.
