Hi everybody,

Just thought I'd introduce myself - I'm Ben from Saltburn, North Yorkshire.  I'm the proud owner of a 2008 Meta 5.5.2, although I had to change the wheels as I thought the standard hubs really let the bike down.
My local stomping ground is Guisborough Woods / Moors - anybody local wanna go ride?  Gimme a shout!  Anybody not local whose visiting the area, bring ur bike, gimme a shout!!!
Guisborough really is the UK's MTB Mecca!!

Laterz all, happy trails.

Welcome. Guisborough is one of the places i'd like to visit. I hail from Lancashire, i.e Gisburn and Lee Quarry being my local trails aswell as the ones around my house.

my brother lives in Skelton, so I know the area quite well
Riden Guisborough a few times (in fact was the Meta's first ever ride) and sorry but wasnt too impressed. Signs where completely non existant, and I ended up getting totally lost, was muddy as hell too
Definately one of those places you need a local to show you round as Im sure there is loads of potential riding round there

Off topic...  I was born nearby in Baysdale!

Exactly underneath the pin on the map:
