will the pogo stick fit on my unicycle?
like a cannondale lefty?
i could draw the outcome, I do good ambulance doodles
As long as you don't need the hospitals round here Iain. Not very good at setting bones properly.
Cheers for the offer Bong, but think I might be sorted.

I wondered how long it would take somebody to mention blue surprises.

Ha ha, maybe so, but family commitments mean on average a once a month ride, therefore meaning progression at a very slow pace. Just back from Morzine, here's a couple of pics of me testing the Kenda combo, no squirming upon landing that wee jump, and great traction around that berm - and no, theres no chance I was single finger braking in Morzine,

Good to hear you had a good time mate, but 2 finger braking ? seriously? you def need new brakes man,!!! even with my formula oro's i was only 1 finger braking, and that was to halt a 40lb bike with 210lbs of me onboard
and before any of ya pipe up and say "you werent going fast enough then" ...trust me i was, i just dont brake much, i rail those berms like im on a mo fo rollercoaster baby!!

Elixer 5's! I was braking with 1 finger for the few months before I went to Morzine, but for some reason went back to two when over there, probably because I was defo braking more. I'm pretty sure that 1 finger gives me just as much braking power, but old habits die hard. Must.............Ride.................Faster
.
Trying to tempt my wife that I now need a 2010 Supreme DH for Inners, FB which we will do this year, and the annual trip to Morzine and Les Gets, but spending over 2K isn't an easy temptation for someone who doesn't really appreciate the importance of rebound, tyre choice, saddle height, chain length, handlebar width and pedal platforms!!!!!
Can currently get one for £2239 from Singletrack bikes, but maybe they will be below £2000 as the 2011 range will be available from roughly September.
Phoned Real Cycles and if you want the 0% option then you have to pay full price ( £3200), and not their current selling price of £2399.......WTF?
I currently have a combi disc aswell as the Meta 6, so I would be a very lucky man indeed if I ended up with a Supreme DH also.

Now everybody is at a different standard aren't they? and by the sounds of it bong you should knocking on the door of a works DH team you seem to be that good.
I switch between one and two finger braking dependant on the conditions, how I'm feeling and one finger fatigue. And yes one finger fatigue is due to a lack of fitness (exercise your finger - how?) and how much braking you are doing - arguably too much. So what brakes you have are only part of the story. But I ride to what i feel I am capable of. If you can keep off the brakes down the Mont Chery then you are indeed a downhilling genius. Surely you are in the wrong job my man??

£239 the difference between buying one and not
or the wife divorcing you or not
The reason that a shop cannot offer you 0% finance on a discounted bike is that someone somewhere has to pay for the 0% finance from which you would benefit. In this case it will be shop i.e. it will cost the shop circa 15% to provide the 0%. This why they cannot do both. As 15% is only £500 and they are offering a reduction of £800 I should think there is compromise in there somewhere??.
