Don't use them, but do replace a lot of them with pads that work. I'm not saying they don't work, just lots bring their brakes to us cus they're not working as well as they used to, and often a change of pads seems to do the trick. Go figure!
In general the Superstars products seem pretty shite. It's just the standard cheapo Taiwanese catalogue stuff but with some "allegedly" cool branding.

Never had a problem with em myself
Some rate them, some dont,'bit like marmite really. The only thing i did do when i bought some, was to follow the bedding in instructions to the letter, without fail

In terms of pads, i think it's very hit and miss. Perhaps down to batches? We went thru a period where lots of them were failing due to the compound coming away from the plate.

Yep could'nt agree more.I heard of the compound coming away too. They might of got their act together production wise? I got mine for hope m4's and had no probs, but a mate who ran juicy 7's could'nt fit his rotor in,as there was so much compound on them

On my 3rd pair, seem to work perfectly well.
Although i don't have anything to compare them to as not used a more expensive set in these calipers.

Been using them for a couple of years now and no problems. The resin pads wear quickly if the conditions are wet and gritty but give a lot of power. The sintered squeal like a piggy when they get hot but last the winter. The kevlar I was a bit dissapointed with less power than the resin and didnt last much longer not worth the extra cash in my opinion.
At the moment I have the sintered in all 3 of my bikes because I bought a 4 pack last year and they refuse to wear out. They do make your rotors go a pretty blue colour when you thrash the brakes

I was thinking bout the Kevlar ones aswell. I run Aztec ones in the front atm and I don't rate them tbh. I think i have sintered Ashima ones in the rear which aren't bad but I've run better. I think the Fibrax I used to use were ok but didn't last very long.
My riding style has changed now with regards to braking. I used to bind the brakes a tad but now I only use them at the last second so I need some pads that are there straight away and not after warming up, if you get my drift. I am now running XT brakes but need new rotors and pads.
So, with this in mind I need brakes which I can slam on and slow down without it being a gradual stop.

I agree that they're hit and miss. One mate went through them like they were made of butter. Another mate had the problem with the pads being too thick and binding on the disc all of the time. I've had poor performance with one pair and the current one's have been going for a while.
TBH I wouldn't buy anymore and for a similar price you can get A to Z or Ashima pads that perform much better.

I've been using ss pads, grips and pedals for ages and can't fault them. Bed the pads in properly and they're fine. The pedals for the price are excellent.
Just my opinion though

just remembered I had to rub my last set down as they would not fit in.That might be just too much oil in my system but dont think it was.

I know a couple mates who had to let some fluid out thier juicy's, inorder to get the pistons back far enough to get the pads in with enough space to get the disk back in. One of which only discovered this mid ride, and had to run with one new and one worn pad as a temp fix to finish the ride.
I've heard numerous tales about linings falling of, and I personally don't buy into the bed-in BS.
If you follow the bedding in process, all you're doing is glazing the pads, which will make them last longer, but it also means they'll have less grip.
