aright dudes. im currently laid up in rochdale hospital after impaling myself on the bars of my absolut at lee quarry pump track. 4 " wound across my abdomen 25 staples and exposed a bit of my bowel. Not sure when ill get out or back on the bike.

I need to find some body armour to protect my stomch now (any tips).

keep an eye out i the mags for the pics. The prizes have to be mine.

front wheel washed out,bars ripped 90 degrees, impaled on handlebars. all too easy.

ouch being impaled by a fairly blunt object must be mega painful,i hope you get better soon as its perfect weather to be out on the bike.
You should certainly win the prizes in the magazine,maybe they will offer you a full set of armour when they see the extent of the wound Wink

woo me and Damo were there,you and your mates came off lee changed bikes and went up a head of us,we were in car park the same time,seen the ambulance ane copter,tough ride dude.

There was a couple of lads who told us the story. He said that some photo's had been taken. I saw you walking down from the pump track. Bet you wish you'd had a ride in that heli now don't you?

that armour was £50 2 weeks ago and the full body armour was £60. prices creaping up i see. hope you are ok dude. that sounds some bad shit.

OUCH!...Hope you get better soon and get back on the bike sooner that expected...

Myself and my Meta had a slight falling out yesterday... had a nasty off a step down and fell onto the bike,the bar end went into my chest and broke 2 of my ribs... compared to you I would say i was lucky Shocked

am outa the game for a month Sad

Alright dudes,

Out of Hospital now - thank the lord.... Rochdale infirmary look after you though - first class service all round like. Helicopter would have taken me up to Blackburn , so glad I went by ambulance

Cheers for the get well messages by the way, photos on the way...but guess what i had waiting for me on the doorstep when I got in??  A get well soon note from Greg Minnaar!!!!!!!

The lads have been busy.
