way to go bud.. you will have a blast.. I spent a few hours on the mountain last June.... what a blast.. grining from ear to ear on each trip down the trails... , watch out for the Bears though....my guide buggered off and left me when she saw one at the side of the trail....

Okay, so I'll avoid mentioning that I might it make it up there later on in the week and that I'll be over here for the next year?  

I am jealous of all those off to Morzine though, was there last year so will see how Whistler compares.

I'm back and in one piece!
Had a great time and really glad I had a guide.
If anyone is heading over, I would highly recommend hiring Peter (good Irish lad) from bearbackbiking.com.
We hit a good chunk of the trails and I managed to keep the rubber side down.
For tomorrow, I will not be at the mountain located right next to another named Blackcomb, but I shall be shuttling Mount Seymour.

How's the trails and weather, is the top of Garbanzo open yet?  I'll be there on Sat for 2 weeks

Weather was fantastic. It was the first nice day of the season. Garbonzo chair is open but there is loads of snow so only one way down. The snow is disappearing quickly though.
Have fun when you are here and don't bother going to the Longhorn as the food was terrible and the service was even worse.

Back from Seymour.
In my opinion, way better than Whistler for tech riding.
We were having a great day until one of the group went down hard with a possible broken hip.
Not very pretty to watch but the guy is a champ. It took over an hour from the time it was decided that he would not be able to walk out until the paramedics arrived.
Will be heading back home Thursday to little old Bromont.
