hi

has anyone been riding in turkey. going this summer and taking my meta 5. going to be near calcan. could do with advice about what tyres to take etc.

i was hiking in turkey 8 year ago ok not with bike,  they have nice rocky moutains - but there is about 40 deg  how you will ride bike  Tongue - watch out shoe cleaners are realy bastards  Grin Grin

i think something or similar  like Big bettys will be ok there beacouse of rocky terain if my memory is corect  - but i dont want to be to smart hope somebody will help you with better info ...good luck  Wink

yeah was thinking rubber queens (already have a set!). i should be ok with heat, early morning lat evening was my thinking. was in france 3 years ago with heat wave was ok and i was ok in spain last year.

there are some serious hills / tracks above Kalkan however its also seriously hot so be prepared to get up very early !!
