Singletrack is one of those mags that riders respect. You might not like the style or writing, or agree with their fetishes, or share their fondness for lycra, but you have to respect the guys behind it the mag. They've built a following on being honest and actually riding the bikes they review. So when they review a Commencal, you have to take notice.

In the latest issue they've got their hands on the Super 4, which is a new bike for 09, based on the previous Meta 4 it's been slimmed down and tightened up. It's just the type of bike that Singletrack are known for: All day riders with a racing edge. Thankgod they liked it then!

The full article is in the downloads section, special thanks goes out to Singletrack for permission to reproduce it. If you've not got a sub to the mag, get one here.

Read the test the other day in the mag. I must confess to 'getting' a lot of singletrack - the 'back in the day' stuff in the mag was also a trip down memory lane for me.

Must say the Super looked lovely in the mag. Wouldn't mind on of those one day.

Singletrack is the best publication on the market and the only one i really trust in terms of impartial testing.
It is not heavily advertising based and therefore has less affiliation to various brands as mags like MBR appear to have.
Keep it up.
