One of these - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Token_Tiramic_Bottom_Bracket/5360039115/

Anyone any experience?
Reviews seem half decent but no feedback on how long bearings last
Obvously they are replaceable (unlike Shimano) but if they only last 10 minutes then no point really

Im assuming there is some sort of seal or cap over the end that isnt shown in that pic or the water and grit will just get straight in there?

No experience of these BB's but another suggestion would be to send the cups off to BETD and get heavy duty bearings fitted:

Not without a BB to send them in the first place Wink
The RaceFace one I took off yesterday is probably not worth salvaging to be honest so I need a new one
Will prob just go with a cheap one from Superstar or a Gusset one but I fancied that Token one as I could get it for £50 in green (having a bit of a Christchurch-esque anodizing thing at the mo Wink)

I've just replaced a set of HT2 Shimano BB bearings with replacement Enduro ceramic ones.  Not a difficult job at all.  Shimano say 'Do Not Disassemble' but no reason not to.

In fact exactly what BETD would do if you sent them off as per the link above.
Appreciate you need a decent BB to fit them into first ...

Maybe.  Haven't ridden them yet.
They'll be at Lee Quarry this weekend though.
Just disassembled the Meta linkage and all the bearings need replacement, as well as the lower shock bushings.  Sad

likewise (bushings okay though but shock needs full service so Mojo will replace them anyway) except I cant get my bearings out of the linkage arm or get the main pivot off and I may have been too genorous with the hammer Sad

I have 4 main pivot bearings spare if you want a good deal on them?

Sorry, saw this too late.  Ordered complete set of EnduroMax from the States.
Haven't tried to budge the main pivot bearings yet but after my experience with them last time I won't even be trying.  The swingarm will be going to my lbs (Bike Tree if they're tooled up for it).
Don't think I'll have a problem with the 608's - except maybe for the ones in the wishbone.
A quick look at those suggests that the hollow axle could prove difficult to dislodge. Undecided

No worries, I have 4 Enduro Max's from BETD spare (as I got me a freebie set of bearings 'on test' from 'elsewhere')

yeah I had the same problem
cue hammer that may have been to big and a poorly looking inner sleeve stuck against a bearing!

Well, to bring this thread round full circle, you realise that the main pivot bearings - 6805-2RS - are the same size as BB bearings...

Good luck to us both.  Let me know how you get on with yours.

Just check that your crank axle fits through the beearing with no play before you splash out.
