Ok chaps time for some of you to go mad here    , im lookng for a CHEAP xc hardtail bike,2nd hand. Its not gonna get much abuse, its just to get me up the hills tilll im fit enough to comfortably take my mini dh up em, so what can you recommend? i want to spend as little as possible but i dont want a beater!! I will prob sell it at the end of the summer too.

LOL    yeah it just made me realise how unfit i am so i need to put in the work to become fit and that aint gonna happen on the mini dh cos i just get off and walk too often. But dont worry i wont be a regular xc rider, you can get that idea right ooot your head!!    its just a means to an end!!

get a carrera cracken 09 from halfords, sealed bearings, marzocchi bombers mechanical disc brakes and there acctuerly pretty comfy, trust me i know we ride them round the store at closing time.lol there about £250- £280

i have a gt aggressor 3 2007-2008 model on ebay now but it ends sunday and am getting lots of offers on it i have it advertised else where for £250 you can have it for £220 comes with rockshox dart1 forks but if you want it be quick as i say getting lots of offers close to what i want for it and over 40 ebay watchers. 07591246709.john.

I got my ex's GT outpost for sale. £80. its pretty basic, none adjustable RST sprung forks and vee brakes. Or my specialized P2 is up for 300 trust me dragging that round will get you fit.
