As you may have seen from my 'Who, what, where?' posting, I currently have a lurvely 2007 Supreme MiniDH in bling bling Team spec to play with whilst I wait for the Meta 666 to hit the UK shores.

The 2007 model has been out for a year now and it is just about to be replaced with an updated 2008 model, so maybe this review is a little late ( maybe i'll get a 2008 model to play with? hint hint ). Anyway, I had the opportunity to take this bike to my local trails at Delamere ( in Cheshire ) last night ( you may know it from the downhill technique sections on the MBUK DVD's ).

Being August my biking buddies seem to be spread around the globe on various mission so I was riding on my own and taking it a little easy on this rather expensive machine. I've also got a trip to the 7Stanes planned for this weekend so didnt want to be too  silly.

All I can say after a couple of hours out riding is that I am buzzing about this bike. I felt like CG cleaning doubles and tweaking every possible jump. For that brief moment I became a Downhill god leaving Mr Hill in my wake ( that is a strange pun isn't it? ). The angles are aggressive, the kit is programmed for being gravity assisted ( though it is suprinsingly acceptable going uphill ) and the suspension is set to float. I am already getting shakes at the thought of giving this bike back....

No doubt you have seen the spec, Sram carbon bits, Formula stoppers etc etc. I can't comment on it all yet as Delamere is one of those 'Point and Shoot' places where you dont really pedal too much, so more on this bike after the weekend.

Apologies for the pictures, It is hard to take photos on your own!

Looks a beauty bike....The Metas have great angles too>It makes the feel of the bike more DH than a climbing bike and it certainly seems suited to going down and over stuff rather than putting up with a climb
