Colour co-ordinating
«

I'm having a discussion with the Mrs about the best colour to use to pimp up her bike. I can't really get much in green as obviously that rules out all Hope stuff, so I am suggesting going for blue. I'm thinking of changing spoke nipples, QR's, stem spacers, pedals etc. She's thinks that purple will look good, but purple anodising is just, well wrong. What's everyones opinion? If not blue or purple, any other colours that might look good. The grips will be changed too.
Theres nothing left to co-ordinate on my bike so I need something to keep me busy.

FSA Orbit MX headset in green matches the commencal writing pretty closely (just fitted one to my Meta) and Raceface & Sram both do green, Jagwire cables in green
or go contrasting and go pink, complete with those girly flowery rotors from Hope
Will you be coordinating with the kids swing again, like you did with the Supreme, and don't forget her nipples

I think the bike looks really tidy as it is!
I've always found it very difficult to get colour matches that look right with components from different manufacturers, so it might be worth sticking with a single manufacturer to get all the colour co-ordinated bits from ala hope, race face etc

Nah, I might coordinate it with that exercise ball in the background though.

2 choices that spring to mind... if you want to go bling the you need a bright contrast colour to offset the white... red/gold/gunsmoke.
If not then i'd suggest going monochromatic and going for a black and white colour theme.

I'm with damo on this one, Red looks good as a contrast colour.
Red hubs / QR's on mine look smart. Need a red seatpost QR to match though I think.

No, don't want too much white. It just looks like it's been primed but not had the top coat put on it yet.
She's still going on about purple, but I'm not convinced. I think Red could look ok, or maybe gold.
It has gunsmoke stem spacers on it cause I ordered them for my bike thinking it was the new name for gun metal, which Hope have discontinued for some unknown reason.
I could get the bike sprayed Orange, and then it would be coordinated with my bike.
May have to sleep in the shed if I did that though.

Damn right i like my bike white!
I have suggested as a compromise that I could have blue and purple nipples!
Pink is a no no
Gold looks rubbish
Red If I have too
I still say purple as I think it would look quite good with the neon green!
