I've been riding my 2010 Meta 6 for about 4 weeks now and I'm bowled over by it. The lads I ride with are sick of hearing me go on about how much more stable, comfortable, maneuverable and more suited to its suspension. Is it me, or have they really found their mojo with this years bike?

no idea about the 2010 but having not riden my 08 Meta for about 6 months (been caning the hardtail instead) that is exactly how I felt about it when I rode it again at Afan the other week
Maybe its just because you had a lay off from the Meta for a while you forgot what good bikes they are?

My first ride tomorrow on my new 2010 meta since I stripped the '08 one down in October to send back. I've just been building it up and trying to set the sag up on the rear shock. feels really wierd. Then again if you'd rode a chameleon for 6 mths, you'd think it wierd aswell. feels like an armchair. Just hope it rides good.

Nope, your right, mojo well and truly found with the Meta6. I've always liked the bike, but never felt the need to have one permanently in my collection, but after seeing and riding the new 2010 I knew it was only a matter of time. Officially its not changed from 09, but it has. Perhaps not in any one particular way, but all the little tweaks have come together to finally make it the bike it always deserved to be.

So much so, I've a new 2010 frame hanging up in the shop awaiting a build. Cheesy

Well its definitely not me that's the magic ingredient. Did Lee quarry and spent a good deal of the morning on my arse. Nearly went off the side on the black descent....bad bad run!!

The new stuff is great though. Made for the Meta. I hear there's a pump track ready too, somewhere in the quarry, didn't see it though.

I just rode my 6 for the first time yesterday, and compared to my 08 55 it is wicked! Nothing to complain about on the ups, but so playful on the downs! Lovin' it!
