.. with a Reign X? New one?

Been offered one, when they come back into the country in medium, for £900...

Should i? It'll pedal better than the mini, be lots lighter, have more and better suspension, and have a lifetime warranty.. So should i?

Personally I reckon it's a no brainer if you feel it's better for you than your commy. Is that the one that Tex runs?

Get it bought then, what you waiting for? Not bad as an all day bike either by the looks of it.

A fine choice. I am loving mine. Just got some Saint brakes for mine which i have yet to try out but cant wait.

Be aware the sizes are much bigger than Commencal. I had a large Meta 6 and went for a large Reign X and the difference is massive.

If you want a look at lots of different builds including some weighing 27lbs have a look at this thread.

It's not the same as the Mini. It's a good bike, but to compare it to the Mini is wrong, it's in the same class as the Meta6.

A Reign is an overbuilt trail bike, whilst a Mini is an underbuilt DHer. So it all depends what floats ya boat and what you actually need.

Thing is is that i need a bike that i can ride trails, and DH on. Sure, the angles aren't the same, but they're very similar.

Because when i'm not riding DH, i'm riding XC...

That's where i'm at the predicament of wanting something with 6" travel, but not a XC bike, but also, not a DH bike. Something in the middle.

but they're very similar.

No, honestly, they're not. The Supreme is a lot heavier for a start, and has a much more planted and solid feel. At slow speed the Reign will feel much more snappy and agile, but at high speed the Reign start to get out of shape just as the Supreme is coming into it's own.

Ride them both, back to back, on the same track, at speed, you'll feel the difference immediately. The Mini is a perfectly do able all day bike too.

Well, whatever i get, i'll have a coil shock for it too.

Just picked up a nice DHX5.0 coil for the commy, and for the reign if i get it.
