2009 Meta55 UK LTD seatpost replacement

I have been having probs raising/lowering the seat post on my Meta55 UK, on closer inspection I have discovered that the seatpost has a slight bend in it! about roughly half way down it's length... I am looking at purchasing a new seatpost/saddle but I am unsure as to what diameter seatpost I would need, as some say 30.6mm or 30mm I have measured the diameter myself and it reads 21.72mm (using a digital Vernier Caliper).

I have the 09 552 and its a 27.1 I believe1. is that a typo you have put 21.7 which is very small.

What size frame is it? If a medium then yes its 27.2mm

nope.. re-checked using the digital caliper and it reads 21.72mm, it's a small frame Meta55

then you need new calipers because you cannot get a post that small and if you have managed to find one then taht would explain why it's got bent

just an update.... digital calipers are now in the bin........ they were giving me the wrong readings......
