you can see a crack on the BB if you look hard enough.

Scroll across and right and there is a huge crack across the swingarm.

Wonder if they are using the same manufactures in Taiwan as Commencal did in 08 and 09??

Seems that is not the first Lapierre to die like that either.

Perhaps i should test ride one and see how long it lasts.......

Who decided to post this? Its cruel! Poor Dom hasn't slept all night after reading this! 

Perhaps i should test ride one and see how long it lasts.......

My guess is you'll break it when you sit on it in the shop.

Well thats not very nice is it?  You could at least be a bit concerned. Next time you are out riding with him, keep telling him you can hear a cracking noise coming from his bike.

Of course we can, its fun.  Plus it helps some of the more negative people realise that all brands can have issues with manufacturing, not just Commie.

At least all the commies ive seen cracking haven't cracked as spectacularly as that lafrog!

All models from all brands break from time to time. This week we've seen/heard of two Specialized's, a Lappierre, a Giant, a Trek and a couple of other less known brands. Oddly, this week, no Commies!

I love look of those lapierre bikes just a bit out of my price range
