Commy Meta 4.3 (2007) which has been my trusty steed for the last couple of years is now under new ownership, probably in the Nottingham area thanks to a combination of crap Center Parks security (Sherwood Forest) and 1 or more thieving bast*rd(s).   Angry
I mistakenly thought it would be insured too - still disputing the policy with my supplier. That'll learn me ! If I can ever afford a bike again, which is doubtful in the current economy, I will go for bike specific insurance and check the terms.

No point me checking this board any longer, but thanks for the craic and advice over the last couple of years.

Oh, and if anybody sees it .......... andy.mcallister2@btinternet.com

Happy riding guys.         Cry   Cry

yeah mate I'm in Derby and a few of us are around that Notts area. Big Tex our very own law enforcer Wink knows the guys at Sherwood Pines really well and is quite often up that way, so post some pics and a description and we will get the word out and about
Advertise it on singletrackworld as well

You never know combined eyes and ears of the biking community can work wonders (Jedi's bike was recovered and a police raid launched recently on only bike forum sightings)

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I only have a couple of pics, and these were "as it came".
Its a white 2007 commy Meta 4.3, rock shox BAR shock, high rear mud guard, pump velcro'd to the downtube, brand new FENIX light grip to right of handlebar, trip computer mount in centre. New white flat pedals (distinctive) blue wall Panaracer tyres.(again, distinctive).
Main modification from new is that it has black Manitou R7 forks up front.

Will try find pics.

Thanks again

I suspect you've already done this but inform the police plus all local shops. And keep a close eye on Ebay and gum tree for the complete bike or parts of it.

I have some 09 Super4's left in stock, if I can help you out with a good price on one, on interest free if needed, get in touch.

SteveB - much appreciated. I have informed CP security and Notts police.

Attempt to attach pics - one with truck is most recent (might need to zoom). One with good looking bloke in yellow from last year and one of what it was like when delivered with original fork (not really relevant I guess !)

Description in previous post.

Really sorry to read of this mate. Hope something works out for you. Was it taken from inside one of the villas? (I have been a couple of times to CP's but not the one you mention)

OldFisher -  it was taken from OUTSIDE the villa. Was tied to one of the shackles they provide with my Kryptonite lock (NOT one of the free basic locks CP give out).
Would never have happened at the Cumbria one   Wink

2 more pics I found - white flatties the only change.
Really grateful to the Midlands lads for promising to keep their eyes open.

Sorry to hear that. When I last went my mate had his Kona Shred outside (worth a lot less than yours of course) and security came and told him to keep it inside the villa (in the cupboard in the hallway). I had my Fisher singlespeed with me and they didn't comment on it! Obviously not appreciating its retro beauty!!!

Once again, I feel for you mate.

thats really sad news,it just goes to show that its not only the dole dossing scum from the slums stealing from households but also they are out there thieving in the countryside.
Like everyone else on here i hope you get it back in due course,if not lets hope they get run over next time they make off on someones pride and joy.
Why should you work hard for something only to be stolen,i f*cking hate thieves!!!
I am on ebay and other sites alot so if i see anything that resembles your bike i will PM you.
