D'oh! Just checked your previous posts, and see you're from the Honest Toon.

There are bits and pieces around the place.
There's some shore I've built, and some by my neighbour in my local area (pencaitland-ish), and there's various other bits and pieces spread around, but nothing major that I've found so far, although I've been told of some 'path side features' near to Haddington that I've yet to explore.
We have discovered a nice area that would make for some cool features, but I've not had the time to go and speak to the owner about the possibility of using it (best way to describe it is as a big opensided bowl).

I know of some DJs around Dalkeith, and more shore across in the Polton area.

Did someone mention the Honest Toun?  Me too!

Carberry Bing has long been used by MXers, and recently I spotted some young lads heading up that way on MTBs, so might be something worth looking into?

There used to be some stuff in Newhailes woods in Muss, but thnk they were "cleansed" when the NAtional Trust bods took over the running of the place.

Other than that not sure - Dalkeith might be another bit close by - up near the big viaduct on the A7, mate from work tells me there's kids building stuff, not een up though?

Can we have a Musselburgh branch of the Commencal Owners Club?

Have you any idea where about around the old viaduct?

A few of us were in that area a couple weeks ago, doing a local loop, which included some nice singletrack.

Not really sure - the way he described it was off to the right as you look towards Edinburgh direction from newtongragnge?  Will ask him again and get back to you

There could quite easily be some stuff in the Lothianbridge woods. Will add that to the areas to explore (or more precisely, tell my mate who's local loop it is, and get him to explore it!)

Yeah i live in Musselburgh. Ive seen some vids on youtube from Carberry bing. And also when ive passed Newhailes on the bus i can see some trails. Don't know how good they are. Im off work in the next couple of days, so will have a scout about and report back. Its not too easy for me to get too far, as i don't drive, and i don't want to ask the girlfriend too much.lol.

Yep think it is the Lothianbridge woods - here's how he described it - "past the Sun Inn turn left up the Lady Lothian walkway. Some trails on Right hand side as soon as you go in. but if you go along the path for half a mile or so there are 1 or 2 trails leading down to the river"

There's a drop down the banking with a berm at the bottom before the river further in.
I've been there twice, but still not ridden the drop, as it's not something you want to be trying in wet weather!
