I made my own 'Neo Guard' out of a piece of old inner tube and some cable ties the other day. Tried it out on Sunday, it worked an absolute treat! There are fast sections of trail at Macclesfield that I normally lose visibility on due to spray, however I was much better off, not completely clear like you would be from a mudguard but much, much better...

I was just thinking the same today and wondering how to attach it on...

  No my bike is at the bike hospital after the rear suspension snapped.

I literally cut a length of old inner tube to match the distance between the top of the fork where the rebound controls are and the bridge just above the tyres. I then cut along the length of the tube to open it out (it is the perfect width). I then punched holes in each corner then threaded through some cable ties through the holes and attached the cable ties to the fork nice and tight.

I cannot express how surprised I was at how well it worked!

I was just explaining on other thread how annoying it was yesterday as it's so wet and slippery here. Now I'm gonna do that just like you explained. But is the rubber stron enough so it holds in the holes? the ties don't cut the rubber?
