I reckon those wheels might look smart on my Meta 5 VIP - just how much are they likely to cost???

Thems are Halo Freedom rims, with black DT comp double butted spokes to the new CL XT hubs with bolt thru front: Cost about £200 all in.

OK, the DH version of the bike is pretty much done. Gotta fit the front mech and tweak it a bit, but it's pretty much there:

Guess the weight?

BTW: The wheels are round and the bike is not that short, it's just my phone cam seems to want to squish all pics!

If we guess the weight correctly, do we win the bike?
Looks like a nice build, how does it feel?

No!

It feels all way too soft at the rear at the mo, need a stronger spring, although I'm thinking of running the DHX Air in it all the time so the Manitou will be sold off. Gonna decide tomorrow.

Other than that it feels short compared to my Meta, but I'll get used to it. Pedals really well on the flat, will find out uphill at the weekend.

Also before the weekend I hope to have tried the lightweight build too: TALAS36 upfront and a DHX Air out back.

I'm going to say low 30s. Probably 32/33lb ish.
