Just got me the last 07 Supreme Mini DH frame from the suppliers, was gonna build it up with the spare kit I've got kicking around (36 TALAS, 321/XT wheels, RF bits etc) but then saw that Manitou stuff has been seriously reduced by the old importer, so I've just ordered some Travis Intrinsic 180mm DC forks and a 4way swinger coil rear shock. Figured I might as well build the Supreme in full on DH mode now. I had my first MiniDH built like this in 2005 and it rocked, cant wait to get it down the local DH stuff.

Won't be getting the build started for a week or two but will keep you all informed.

Ya, been thinking about it for a while, not been used since Spain, was saving them for the Supreme, but that's not gonna happen now.

If your seriously interested PM me an offer. Just remember they are stupidly expensive new (these are the Talas 36 RC2's) and these have had little use.

Damn! called my bluff  Cheesy

I'm toying with the idea of a fork upgrade, but I have no clue about this stuff. I figured they must be the bomb if you have them, but as for an offer??? I have no clue. (cue everyone trying to sell me their sh!t  Grin). When we return for 7s i'll check the finances and get back to you.

Cheers

OK, been a manic week and I've had no time to do what I opened my shop for.... Playing with my own bike bits! So it's Friday, everything is cleared for the week, so it's my time Cheesy

So started putting together the new project. Had a major scare as the rear shock would not fit in the "correct" way round, the top of the piggy back is too high and fouls the frame under max compression, but it fitted OK the "wrong" way round. Phew.

Here is a very poor quality pic, taken with my phone, no camera here today. The forks are set to the same axle to crown height as a set of 36's that is the typical fork to go on a MiniDH, so even though I'm getting an inch moe travel The angles are still very "Mini DH", not "DH".

I like. A lot.

Gonna be weeks before it's finished and I've the time to ride it, but can't wait.

Nice job but.... thats a very bland saddle by your standards!  Im hoping its just a makeshift to keep it in the workstand and we can expect to see some cow print/leopard skin/camo in the near future?!  Wink

LOL, the scary thing is your 100% right! That's off a stock bike, it's just to get the frame in the stand. I'm thinking Leopard print, or maybe silver.

At least I'm not planning on going for the full colour co-ordination.  Wink
