Parking Ticket

Just got a parking ticket outside my own house.I have a temp pass in window until my new one arrives, but the Warden said to Tina [she ran out when he was writing it] I have made the temp pass look to official therefore he thought it was fake.I phone up to complain and was told I should not have printed the number out,I should have hand written it,also sticking it to my windscreen makes it look perminant,ha ha you just cant win can you.I now have to go thru the appeal side of things.Thats what you get for doing a good job of something in this mad country.

They are all t******. Its the problem with putting them on a commision based contract. It breeds corruption. Plus the badge makes them think they are actually important, instead of simply doing a two bit, parasitic job that no-one else wants. My mum got a ticket once when she had parked in a car park and put the ticket on the dashboard as it wasn't a sticker type. The warden claimed that it wasn't clearly visible as it wasn't attached to the windscreen. The moron obviously expects people to carry sellotape around to stick them to the window to make it easier for him. She successfully appealed it but it takes ages as the pen pushers at the council will always back them up, regardless of what they have done.

Thats the problem, two opposite reasons for giving a ticket, but both times the pen pushers say they are right.

Nothing to worry about there mate - just stick to your guns. My Mrs got one in a shopping centre car park once - the ticket was had written and had 13:10 written on it as the 'time of issue' - only thing was my Mrs was sat in the car with the ticket in her hand at 13:00, unless she can time travel, the attendant had added a least 10 mins to the time so it went past the expiration. Needless to say I wrote them a letter (NCP) threatening to prosecute the attendant - they dropped it in the end. They had no choice, and despite what they tried to say, it was not a civil dispute as the attendant had clearly made an attempt at deception.
Good luck mate, and do not pay it.

We have residence parking in my road.
Last year I got a ticket because I was displaying a visitors day ticket on my dash next to the residence parking permit which had expired. I did not have the new residence parking permit because of a fuck up at the council.
Apparently visitors day pass' are only to be used by visitors, because I had an expired residence parking permit attached to my windscreen it apparently invalidated the visitors day pass!
We appealed and the ticket got cancelled.

Derby, some dodgy clamping company been in news here loads recently, seemed they had laid claim to an old disused petrol station forecort as well. Been evicted from operating there now though. Been loads of complaints about them but legally there is nothing you can do in England (Scotland is different).
Taking them to small claims court now to get money back
We had police involved as they assualted me as they were leaving (long story) happened on 21st December, police finally came to speak to me last Monday! They have referred it to Notts police now as their company office is in Mansfield so maybe Ben can go round and sort them out

Good luck in court, though it's probably after that you'll need the luck, getting your dosh back from them.
