Just wanted to share a pic of my new Absolut SX.  Only ridden it around the neighborhood so far but I think it's gonna be my favorite bike ever.  The bike feels super light and responsive.  I can already manual it down the block as long as my hardtail.  As you can see I didn't spare any expense on the build.  Hoping to get it on dirt in a couple weeks on a trip to southern Utah and see how it really handles.

Only thing I can see missing from your spec sheet is what model of Pikes they are (air or coil?).

I'll likely swap out for a FOX 831 in the spring but so far the Pike feels pretty good.  Any tips on setting this fork up for DJ or 4X would be aprreciated!

looks great ... is the lg1+ mounted on the dust cap integrated iscg adapter or is it bb mount? i dont really know how i'd feel about thrashing either through the taco :)

I run the air version of those for 4X and dirt on my hardtail, wind them up to 140 for freeride and down to 120ish for 4X.  I usually have the floodgate pretty open, then when running them at 120 close the compression lever which leads to them using the floodgate on bigger hits, but reduces the amount of bob when thrashing it down a 4X course

The LG1 is mounted via the dust cap.  I'm not really sure what to expect with this mounting method?  I wish the frame just came with mounts to bolt on a chainguide but so far it seems pretty solid.

Pedals good....not a lot of bob or anything when cranking away.  Also manuals great, actually responds well to those last few thrust to keep a long manual moving.

I want to run the forks and shock pretty stiff but am going to wait until I get some solid time on the dirt to see how far to take it.

I have just built mine up and have had a mare with the chain guide. So when you say you mounted it with the dust cap!! What do you mean??? Did you not use an iscg adaptor??

Any help and pics would be really appreciated
