I've just found an original website picture of mine when I got it 2 years ago. Before:  After:  I think the before picture looks like its got the wrong shock and fork fitted. They really don't suit the frame at all. Also, when did they add gussets to the headtube area? Mines not got any gussets on the top tube and the downtube is hydroformed to give a larger weld but doesn't have gussets either. Was it only done on VIP frames or was it added in 08? |

nearly finished for now using parts left over from my meta 5 to get it up and running. Just had a quick sit on it and it feels ok its L/XL weight is not to bad around 35lbs ( feels lighter than the Raleigh Grifter i had as a kid.) Its intended use is a do it all bike hence the double chain ring. To many big hills where i live to not have a granny ring! As and when funds become available i will change the forks to fox float 36 and change the wheel set then maybe a DHX air. so i back in the real world it will probably stay like this for ever!  |

I like the look of that very much, and i actually rather love it with the 32s on the front rather than 36s, be especially good when u are climbing a lot, cause u dont really need al the travel from bigger forks etc, and if ur getting an air shock i personally think a 32 suits it better |

Right just had first proper ride out on mine so what was it like then. size l/XL rider 6ft. Uphill: Climbs alot better than i thought probably on par with my old meta5 no massive pedal bob or anything just kept spinning away, wasn't a to technical climb though. Double chain ring set up works well. Feels OK out of the saddle as well if you don't mash the pedals round. Extra Weight: Didn't notice it ! Pedals alot lighter than it actually weighs. (if you understand what i mean). Downhill: Bear in mind this was the first ride on a new bike but but on local trail. It goes so dam fast i was approaching corners with far to much entry speed than before but as the meta would struggle and get a little out of shape this thing just digs in and rails round. Also feels alot more stable at speed and when you get it airborne its alot better than a meta 5 !  Carpark: it looks cool in neon orange. |

I made the move last year from my awesome Meta 666 to the MiniDH ( I wasn't a fan when they renamed both models! ). Haven't looked back really, but then again my riding has moved more towards the DH end of the scale and it has given me the excuse to build up a hardtail for more xc type riding. I've ridden it on Uplifts and around trail centres and it is a bit more effort on the ups, but it makes up for it on the downs by a long way! I think you will enjoy it Tim S  |

Does anyone know what spring rate the coil is in the shock that comes with the frame?

My supreme 2 full bike came with a 400lb spring which suits me at 13 stone with kit perfectly.

I agree, saw two 2010 ones up at Chicksands on Sat, they really are very bright! It was a bit of a supreme fest up there, as there were 2 2010, and 3 2009 including mine! In related news, my 36 floats have arrived so just need to clean up the bike and fit them and my supreme project will be complete! |
