Anyone else getting really p*ssed at the snow. I`ve had 2 weeks off over xmas and planned to get at least 4 or 5 days riding in, not a chance. Only time i`ve got anywhere near was Whinlatter when I turned round after a few km due to deep unrideable snow.

Everywhere in the North West seems to be under either a blanket of deep snow, compacted icy snow or a combination of both making conditions trecherous.

I`ve still not managed a proper ride on the new Meta

I was out in the snow yesterday, along with 18 others  Smiley

Although, even under the trees there was a good covering of snow.

Get yourself to Healy Nab Pdid. Frosty, but not too much snow under the trees. Infact it rode really well (the course not me, I was shit!) The roads up Rivvi way were risky though. Need directions?

FLIPPIN' AMAZING!!!!!!

Most fun I have EVER had on a bike in 19 years
SNO SKI BIKING - Its the future I reckon

Best way to stop in the peaks today was by flopping sideways into a 4foot snowdrift at the side of the track
Pics and Vids to follow soon as I download

Was a cracking day, not a cloud in the sky, not another biker on the trail, only downside, the cafe was closed!!!

Had an awesome ride out this afternoon near my place. Video'd it all using helmet mount copied from Davy which worked really well..............except when i checked the footage it is all just pointing down to low as have not got the camera angled right.

Cock.  Roll Eyes

This is where the muvi falls down with no viewfinder of screen. I will have to devise a method to get the angle right and fix it in that position.

Probably right, They didnt do a very good job of melting this "Fu*!in Snow!!" today, but at least my camera was pointing forwards (apart from when it was buryed sideways in a snow drift) Grin

Rivi may be the only place worth going. We`ve more snow forecast for tomorrow though so it`s gonna get worse before it gets better. I live near Blackpool and the local riding is non-existant.

the snow sucks because the lazy council dont bother gritting the roads even after 3weeks of laying ice and snow and one car crash.Still what can i expect for a mere £1500 a year in council tax Angry
