Somebody I know has had his bike stolen from Hertford last night, so if anybody sees/hears anything about any of the following bits, then let me know.

Specialized Demo9 all black, gripshift, doubletrack rims on hadley hubs, ti rear spring, diablous cranks and bars/hope v2 brakes. Aframe pedals. Minion front high roller rear tyres.

I'll keep an eye out around my way. What forks does it have on it, as that may help to identify it.

I knew he'd missed something important from the description!

Has a set of black shivers on it.
Everything on the bike is pretty much black, and the frame has been delogo'd.

It involved a police sting, but I've not got all the details.

Several other bikes were recovered aswell.

I cant think of any other sport where people will go right out there way to help someone out. Mountain biking reallly is the best sport to be in Grin Grin Grin

yeah man! it blew my mind. i have been asked by the police if i will advise them/help with future bike theft. of course i said yes.
if we all stand tall and never give in to the its insured mentality we will make bike theft less common and a high risk of getting caught
