nope I just didnt turn up with the promised lockring so it was an easy guess

Did you order a replacement yet? If not I noticed today the one I have on my XT cranks is a metal one - if you want to get a cheaper plastic one I'll swop you for this one (its pretty new, only ridden the old bike twice since I fitted the cranks) Those cranks are going on ebay soon anyway as I swopped over to the new Tiagra road cranks today (what a faff getting an XT front mech to work with a 50tooth ring )
